getting motivated, it's week 3 and i'm having a problem getting motivated. I have been feeling like hammered dog crap, and realize i still have 7 more weeks to go. I just want to run screaming out into the night. if it weren't for my iggys i just don't think i could go on. last 10 weeks one of my study mates from comp 1 was having issues, now i see exactly where she was coming from.

  1. You can push through. Something I do that helps me is on wed I go over everything I need to do in the week and I plan out a time schedule. Like I need to get this project done on friday, and this project on sunday. So everything is time managed and broken up so it does not get overwhelming.

  2. You can do it...it is just one day at a time. What I do is Wednesday, I look over what it is that I have to do, and designate certain days to do the different things. After that, I don't do anything on Wednesday for school except class. I used to be really insane about doing something all the time, every night and/or day. I got so frustrated that I kept getting behind in both classes and still forgetting to do something till the last minute.
My worst class was Algebra. I'm not a math person and no matter what I did, some of those chapters was like reading something in Russian and being expected to come up with an answer?????? I just guessed on most of my tests, luckily, they were multiple choice for the most part. eeew...I'm going to have to stop talking about that class now! :-)

  3. Hey, I meant to tell you,my brother and his wife are into dog rescue. They shall remain nameless. There is like this big underground network. Needless to say, they themselves have acquired a few pooches that are "special needs" and really not adoptable. They are the dog side to my sister and I. My sister-in-law has actually stolen dogs to rescue them from horrible conditions. Both she and my brother have done some really great things for our canine friends. They get a lot of inquiries from up north to adopt dogs. I know that they have sent dogs to Michigan, Minesota, Boston, many places. I asked her why one time, and she said that the spay/neuter programs are so successful that they have a shortage of dogs/puppies to adopt. I just can't imagine how great that would be!

  4. You can do it! I woke up this morning feeling very overloaded. It seems as if we have already done so much. Continue to push on through and everything will be fine.
